Advice for parents and carers

Dear parents/carers,

As you will have most likely heard on the news yesterday, schools in Redbridge will not re-open to all pupils on January 4th. The school will, however, be open to children of critical (key) workers and vulnerable pupils as in the first lockdown.

Remote learning provided by our teachers will be available online from Tuesday 5th January and if you want your children to access work on Monday you can do so via The Oak Academy website. Your children will be expected to complete all work that is set.

If you are a critical worker and you want your children to attend school from Monday 4th January, please email the office address admin.groveprimary@redbridge.gov.uk

If you have trouble accessing online learning then please email the office and a member of staff will get back to you.

It is important for planning staff levels that you email the school by 4pm tomorrow, Friday 1st January, should you require your child to attend school on Monday. Critical workers and vulnerable pupils only and in full uniform.

The government will review the situation on January 13th and we will give you further information as soon as we know it.

Have a very Happy New Year and let’s hope 2021 is a better year.

London is in Tier 4 - STAY AT HOME
